The Magical Secret of the Crystal Kingdom
Adele was absolutely brilliant in her role. She showed total enthusiasm throughout and provided an excellent performance!

The Lost Goal
Adele gave a very good performance as Ava, excellently portraying the emotions of trying - often in vain - to comfort her best friend. She used quietness and stillness to great effect. only raising her voice when she really needed to, as she showed Ava's comforting nature and also her determination to help her friend. She was subtle, yet expressive, with some particularly good 'knowing glances' behind William's back.
Off camera, Adele was consistently friendly and professional and it was a pleasure to have her on the set.

What a joy to photograph Sophie and Adele Steward. Both took instructions very well and pushed each other to do better. Very mature, fun and willing to push for greater results. Would have them back at the studio anytime.
Wishing them all the luck.

We always think it is very special when a student achieves a gold medal and we would like to congratulate Adele and share a little about her Studio journey to this final Verse & Prose exam.
Adele started on the Verse & Prose syllabus back in September 2015 taking her Verse & Prose Entry exam on 13th December during which she performed Night Spinner and The Magic Lesson and received a Distinction. Adele has consistently received Distinctions on all the subsequent Verse & Prose examination - grades 1 to 8 - achieving marks in the 90s for her Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals and gaining 30 UCAS points.
For her Gold Medal Adele selected Dulce et Decorum est by Wilfred Owen, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and William Shakespeare’s Sonnet 130
The examiner described Adele as someone who can “demonstrate a natural appreciation for the style of the writing and share words with compassion and sensitivity” and that she is “able to build strong connections with an audience using varied vocal play creating apprehension and atmosphere.”
Adele was as complimented on her knowledge “It is clear that you research texts thoroughly for performance enabling you to share words with confidence and belief. You share ideas eloquently in conversation communicating ideas with in-depth detail and passion.”
Y12 student Adele combines her speech and drama studies with academic excellence and roles at in the entertainment teams at both Gulliver's Land and Wicksteed Park
We are very proud of Adele’s achievement
